Sarpluscom Kit The SARPLUSCOM auto dialler is supplied in a high impact polycarbonate box and can be mounted within the car top area. Its compact size makes it ideal for new or existing installations. The unit has a push button fitted for the engineers use should they become trapped in the car top area. A loom is supplied to connect the Autodialler to the COP. This carries with it 12vdc signalling for your “Alarm Activated” & “Alarm Received” indicators and the speaker & microphone.

A speaker and microphone is supplied for mounting behind a grill in the COP. The microphone is sensitive enough to pickup from inside, below and above the lift car so when coupled with the high quality loud speaker the auto dialler does not require any extra units outside of the lift car to comply with EN81.

A further engineer’s activation button is supplied on a 5m cable and this is mounted beneath the lift car. The SARPLUSCOM can be programmed remotely by a standard phone or mobile using DTMF signalling or on site with a handset.

The SARPLUSCOM requires a battery backed 12vdc supply (extra cost).

The machine room intercom is provided by means of a handset and connection card. This card allows easy connection from the telephone jack plug to your trailing flexes (extra cost).
The SARPLUSCOM requires 2 flexes for the telephone line and a further 2 if you require the machine room intercom handset. It is not always necessary to use twisted paired cables but is advisable to use this type.

To comply with EN81-28 with regards to the alarm filtering, you are required to provide a volt free contact from the controller which closes when the lift is out of service. This contact is put in series with the autodialler alarm button contact.
